The report reflects the outcomes of the Resilient Cities 2015 congress and captures broader developments in the field or urban resilience and climate change adaptation. It is based on the expertise of international experts and practitioners who participated at the congress, June 8-10 in Bonn, Germany. The report features case studies from around the world, highlights newly available tools and solutions, and provides an overview of the state of urban resilience globally by exploring new directions and innovations.

More than 420 participants, including approximately 170 speakers, convened in order to discuss urban resilience and adaptation in 39 sessions and a number of side events. We were pleased to welcome participants from 56 countries to Bonn. Twenty-five percent came from local governments, 24 percent from academia, 28 percent from international organizations and NGOs, 8 percent from the corporate sector, and 12 percent from national governments. Three percent were media representatives.

With Resilient Cities 2015 almost upon us, ICLEI is happy to announce the release of our program booklet in which you can find all the details about the biggest global forum on urban resilience and climate change adaptation!
