Mayors Adaptation Forum
“Making Cities Resilient”
Convened by the World Mayors Council on Climate Change as the high-level segment of the Congress, the Mayors Adaptation Forum drew over twenty local leaders and a dozen representatives from the endorsing partners to Bonn, Germany.
Through the course of their meetings, participants drafted the Bonn Declaration of Mayors and defined their adaptation roadmap.
In collaboration with the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, the Mayors Adaptation Forum 2010 featured the launch of the campaig,n “Making Cities Resilient”, which allowed Mayors to commit to increasing the resilience of their communities.
