Thank you for submitting to Resilient Cities 2016 Call for Contributions!

Our Call for Contributions closed on January 15th. Global experts from 37 countries around the globe submitted 170 contributions related to our themes. Among the contributors, several cities from four different continents directly submitted proposals to present their resilience work, providing a broad regional coverage of adaptation examples. More than a third of the contributions have a global focus, aiming at introducing transferable examples, useful tools, and best practices for all cities.

The submissions are currently being reviewed by our esteemed Program Committee and the outcomes will be communicated in March/April 2016.

Resilient Cities webinar “Public-private collaboration for urban resilience” was held today at 15pm CET. The webinar looked into success factors and obstacles in achieving effective public-private partnerships (PPPs) to enhance cities’ resilience and shared examples of such PPPs with the city of Tshwane and the city of Kyoto (one of the 10 city case studies in the OECD project “Resilient Cities).

Call for Contributions for Resilient Cities 2016 extended to January 15th!

Our call for contributions for the Resilient Cities 2016 Congress, to be held 6-8 July in Bonn, Germany, will remain open for an additional week. Proposals are currently being accepted for presentations, panels, workshops, posters, Reality Check Workshops, trainings, co-events and other formats
